LONNIE WRIGHT President, CEO
Graduated from Texas A & M University in 1988 with a BBA in Business Management. Since that time I have worked for American Water Works, (formerly Azurix North America, formerly S & W Water Maintenance, Inc.). Since 1988 I have worked from the ground floor up in this Industry. My most recent responsibilities include:
Direct Supervisor/Manager for local water district with 7,200 connections, 6 wastewater facilities and 9 water treatment facilities.
Municipal Utility District (MUD) board representative for 8 MUD's.
Engage directly with Boards of Directors in all facets of District Management.
Responsible for matching water and sewer billing capabilities with client expectations.
Client manager and consultant for Azurix North America.
Customer relations between Board of Directors and their constituents
Managed repair crews for maintenance and repairs for 33,000 + water and wastewater connections.
In 1988 I began working full time in the water and wastewater industry. I began with a crew of 3 men (including myself) and 1 backhoe. When I left American Water Works in January of 2002, there were 4 backhoes and about 14 people working in the construction department that I was taking care of.
During my 13 years with my former employer, I was promoted to Vice President of Construction. As well as taking care of the construction division, I also managed the two largest clients that American Water Works had in the Houston area. This included the plant operations, coordinating the construction and repairs, board representative and interacting with the other District Consultants to work thru the normal situations (and some abnormal situations) that are associated with municipalities like yours.
We have put together a team of people that are capable of handling all of the requirements of your District. We are ready to meet the local, state and federal requirements that are required. And equally important, we are focused on meeting the Board of Director's expectations and standards that you have come to expect when a small privately owned Operations Company is taking care of your District.
We are interested in pursuing only local utility districts (in the greater Houston area) and maintaining our individuality and private ownership in the operations community.
